Mwamba Johnson – [Coach]

Mwamba is a Certified Career Coaching candidate passionate about helping individuals optimize self-leadership, create more significant influence, and generate positive organizational impact. He is emphatic about assisting others in leveraging resources, relationships, and technology to solve real-world challenges as an expression of the love of Christ. He has a B.S. in Finance from Tuskegee University and various certifications in individual leadership assessments such as RightPath 4 & RightPath 6 and RightPath 360 and Myers-Briggs.

Mwamba has worked with emergent leaders for almost two decades, coached vocational missionaries in sustainability practices, and led a non-profit as Executive Director. As a staff of Perimeter Church for nine years, he served as Area Director for College Campus Outreach. He was a frequent communicator and strategist for various retreats, conferences, mission trips, and staff development training.

Mwamba has leveraged his skills to contribute to the leadership of a diverse team of 20 staff serving seven campuses in the Atlanta area. Mwamba has documented visionary leadership, exceptional organizational management, and people skills. Before his role at Perimeter Church, Mwamba served other businesses as a Marketing Director and Life Coach. As a self-aware, culturally astute, and entrepreneurially driven leader, he focuses on coaching Marketplace Workers along their journey toward international employment.

Kimberly Johnson – [Program Specialist]

Kimberly has over 20 years of experience working in career consulting and human resources. This has encompassed working with clients individually and in college career services. She taught courses, wrote curriculum and counseled students in internships, career planning, and career exploration at the University of Minnesota.

Kimberly has also worked in staffing and recruiting, making permanent and temporary placements of employees for a variety of corporations and organizations. Her passion is helping people to understand themselves and how to find the best fit position. Professionally, Kimberly has spoken at both national and regional conferences, such as the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) and the Minnesota Career Development Association (MCDA). She has completed the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Qualifying Program, using the MBTI in career counseling; MBTI Step II; and Understanding the 16 Types. In addition, she received the Career Services Innovation Award from the Career Development Network at the University of Minnesota. She holds a M.S. from Minnesota State University in Counseling along with an Industrial Relations Certificate and B.S. in Marketing/Speech Communication/Sociology from the University of Minnesota.

Kimberly loves to travel and cherished the opportunity to advise international students enrolled at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. She loves hiking, especially in the mountains, creating memories with her family, and capturing special moments in pictures.

Rhiannon King – [Program Specialist]

Rhiannon has enjoyed an exciting and varied career in healthcare around the world. Originally from England, she graduated from the University of Southampton, UK with a BSc in Physiotherapy in 2001.

She worked for several hospitals within the British National Health Service before taking her skills overseas. She then worked as a Physiotherapist in three other countries, including four years in post-conflict nations in West Africa. During this time, she trained local rehab therapists as well as managed a team of occupational and physical therapists onboard the world’s largest non-governmental hospital ship.

Since moving to the US, Rhiannon has been advising and placing international workers into vocational service opportunities all over the world.

She is passionate about developing people and empowering them to reach their full potential, as well as helping others find ways to make an impact around the world. She is a Pilates fan, loves spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors. In her free time, you can find her reading a good book or having a cup of tea with friends.
